to do list
1. Make Taane a play kitchen
Have been doing research on this since I saw Gabby's cute homemade kitchen she made for Ruby.
Thought I would like to do one with a sink, there's nothing better than a man who does dishes in my opinion.
Taane *loves* Ruby's kitchen and we already have loads of stuff to go in our kitchen, which currently is just bread bin and table. He's mad for making tea, and he's a truck noodle soup kinda guy too, loves his felt vegies and tofu.
So, I saw this cardboard kitchen
online and just had to order it. Best idea ever, I think. So exciting! It is just a file, so it's in my inbox waiting to be read. Yay.
It's been awesome being at home again, but my boy has grown up so much!
Decided to wean this week, down to one feed a day with his morning snuggle.
Got a new cup though, so he's more excited about that. I'm kinda over it, and I think we did pretty well, Taane will be 18 months this month.
It is blowing me away how much he understands and can actually communicate. I can now order him around, he can fetch his plate and cup from the cupboard, put toys away and even entertain the dog. Yipee. Time out has begun too, mostly for tired hitting, but still he shoots us that naughty face and tries some new naughtiness on.
Words of the week so far: table, sorry, cup, car and cuddle.
It sums things up nicely.
Thanks to Biz Markie and Andy at bath time beatboxing has become sport, Taane is a little beatmaking ewok, beats interspersed with truck and car sounds.
