changes happen over night around here, not content with being fed, Taane decided that he wanted to take control of the situation. Of course this made me realise I had to re-think the kinds of foods I have been feeding him, or at least the format they were presented in... so a bean mash became a baby felafel with yoghurt dipping sauce... yum yum and what a mess too!

8 months old

We enter the new year with a new camera and some new teeth!
Hard to believe but today our boy Taane-mahuta is eight months old. Yes, it's gone very fast, but sometimes the nights are still long. Taane is mostly in a routine, but unhappy going off to sleep in the evenings. Christmas 08 saw many exciting presents and a lovely day with family. I am going back to part time study to finish my primary teaching diploma this year, which will bring new challenges for us all, but exciting to be in the midst of more change. Here are some pics of the last couple of months. It's been too busy and too hot to update this as regularly as I would have liked, but the pics keep coming.
